Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Tenang Teknologi Solutions (registration no. KT0560731-W), a business registered in Malaysia (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”), which operates SPM Booster at spmbooster.com. Our contact details are in section 18.

By creating an account, buying a package or using SPM Booster, you agree to these terms. Please also read our privacy notice, which explains how we handle personal data. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use SPM Booster.

• You must be 18 or over to hold an account and buy packages in your own name.
• If you are under 18, you may use SPM Booster only with the permission of a parent or guardian. Your parent or guardian agrees to these terms for you and is responsible for your use of SPM Booster.
• Parents and guardians: by allowing a student under 18 to use SPM Booster, or by paying for a package for them, you agree to these terms on their behalf. The person who pays for a package is our customer for that purchase, even when the credits are given to a student.
• When you sign up, you confirm that you are 18 or over, or that your parent or guardian has read these terms and the privacy notice and allows you to use SPM Booster.
• If you believe a student under 18 bought a package without a parent's or guardian's permission, contact us (section 18) and we will put it right with you.

• Give accurate details, keep them up to date, and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
• Each account is for one person. Do not share an account or let others use your credits. Brothers and sisters each need their own account.
• You may pick a student, parent or teacher account. Parent and teacher accounts can only see a student's progress after the student shares it (section 9).
• We may ask you to verify your identity or age before we act on a request about an account.

• SPM Booster is an independent revision and practice service. It is not run by, endorsed by or connected with the Ministry of Education (KPM), the Malaysian Examinations Board (Lembaga Peperiksaan) or any school. “SPM” refers to the public examination; “SPM Booster” is our brand.
• We are not a school or tuition centre and we do not provide live teaching.
• Marks, estimated grades and study plans are guides to help you revise. They are produced automatically and are estimates, not predictions. They are not official SPM results and we do not guarantee any grade, result or improvement. Your results depend on your own study.
• Our practice papers and SPM Booster Trial Papers are original material we wrote in the SPM style. They are not official, state or school papers. The free downloads archive is different: see section 10.

• Answers are marked automatically, with the help of artificial intelligence, against a marking scheme. AI can make mistakes, especially with unclear photos or handwriting.
• Answers we cannot read or mark with enough confidence are flagged, not guessed.
• If a mark looks wrong, tell us (section 18) with the paper and question. A member of our team will review it and may correct the mark. We may limit repeat requests on the same answer to a reasonable number.
• Do not rely on AI marks or estimated grades alone for important decisions, such as choosing subjects, streams or courses. Talk to your teacher.

• Prices are shown in Ringgit Malaysia. The price shown before you pay is the total you pay and includes SST at the current rate. We may change prices for future purchases; a change does not affect packages already bought.
• Packages: a Single package gives 1 credit for 1 subject. A Bundle gives 10 credits across up to 10 subjects. The package page describes exactly what you get, including when credits expire.
• Using credits: one credit opens one practice paper, or analyses one uploaded paper, the first time. Opening the same practice paper again is free. If an analysis fails on our side, retrying it is free.
• Expiry: credits expire 365 days after purchase. Expired credits cannot be used or refunded.
• Ordering: before you pay you see an order summary and can correct it. After payment we send an order confirmation and receipt to your e-mail address.
• Payment is made through our payment provider Billplz by FPX online banking. We do not see or store your bank log-in or card details. If a payment fails, is reversed or is found to be fraudulent, we may withdraw the credits it bought.
• Delivery: credits are added to your account as soon as payment is confirmed, usually within minutes. If you paid before creating an account, follow the link in your confirmation e-mail to add the purchase to your account.

• You may ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if none of the package's credits have been used.
• Once a credit has been used, the package is not refundable, except where SPM Booster failed to provide the service, or did not provide it with reasonable care and skill, and we could not fix it within a reasonable time. We then refund the affected credits, or the whole package if the failure affects it all.
• If we withdraw a feature you paid for, or close SPM Booster, we refund unused credits (section 16).
• To ask, e-mail us (section 18) with your order reference. Refunds are paid by bank transfer to the account you paid from, within 14 working days of our agreeing the refund.
• Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, including the guarantees that services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

• You may upload photos of your answers and papers, and answer schemes, for your own revision.
• Only upload material you are allowed to use. Papers from schools, state education departments, Lembaga Peperiksaan or publishers belong to them. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to use the material for your own private study. We use your uploads only to provide the service to you; we do not publish or share them.
• You keep ownership of your answers and uploads. You give us permission to store, copy and process them (including through the AI providers named in our privacy notice) to mark them, show your results, keep the service secure and meet our legal duties. We may also use de-identified data, from which your name, e-mail and account details have been removed, to improve our marking schemes and marking quality.
• Do not upload anything unlawful or offensive, and crop out other people's names, faces or personal information before uploading.
• If you believe material on SPM Booster infringes your rights, use the process in section 13.

• Who can see your progress: a parent or guardian who enters your share code, and the teacher of a class you join.
• What they see: a summary of your progress (scores, papers practised, strong and weak subjects). They never see your answers, photos or uploads.
• You stay in control: you can remove a parent or leave a class at any time. Making a new code stops new links; people already linked keep access until you remove them.
• Parents, guardians and teachers must use what they see only to support the student, and keep it confidential. Teachers must follow their school's or centre's rules when using SPM Booster with a class. We may end access that is misused.

There are two kinds of download on spmbooster.com.

• Our own material (SPM Booster Trial Papers, QuickScan, reports and other files we created): you may download, print and use them for your own revision, or (for teachers) with your own class. Some need a free account or a package. We may change which ones.
• The free archive at spmbooster.com/downloads contains past papers and trial papers prepared by Lembaga Peperiksaan, state education departments, MRSM, SBP, schools and others. They belong to those organisations and authors, not to us. We make them available free of charge for personal study, and we claim no rights in them. If you own rights in a file and want it removed, use section 13 and we will remove it promptly.
• For every download, you may not: sell it or charge for access to it; republish it online or in print; remove our name, or the author's name, from it; or use it in a commercial product or service.

Do not:

• try to get around payment, credits, age checks or access limits
• copy our papers, questions or marking schemes in bulk
• scrape the site, or access it with automated tools or bots
• share paid content publicly
• interfere with the service, its security, or other users' accounts
• use SPM Booster to cheat in any examination or assessment

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account without a good reason, we will refund unused credits.

• We take care to keep SPM Booster accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any mark or estimated grade will be correct.
• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for: indirect or consequential loss, or loss of opportunity; any examination result or admission decision; decisions you or others make based on marks, estimated grades or study plans; or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.
• Otherwise, our total liability to you for all claims arising in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the first claim.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including the guarantees and remedies in the Consumer Protection Act 1999, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and fraud or wilful misconduct.

If you believe material on SPM Booster infringes your copyright, e-mail us (section 18) with: your name and contact details; the material and where it is on the site; evidence that you own or represent the rights; and a statement that your complaint is made in good faith. We will remove or disable access to the material within 48 hours of receiving a complete notice, tell the person who uploaded it (if a user did), and may restore it if they show they have the right to use it.

• What we own: SPM Booster's papers, questions, marking schemes, reports, software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors.
• What you get: a personal, non-transferable permission to use them through SPM Booster, under these terms, for as long as you have an account and we provide the service.

• You can close your account at any time by e-mailing us (section 18). Unused credits are not refunded when you close an account, except under section 7.
• Our privacy notice explains what we keep after closure and for how long.

• We may change SPM Booster and these terms.
• For important changes we will e-mail you at least 14 days before they take effect and post the new terms here with a new date. Minor changes (such as clarifications) take effect when posted.
• Changes do not reduce your rights for packages you have already bought.
• If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using SPM Booster. If a change or a closure of the service takes away something you paid for, we will refund your unused credits.

We may transfer our rights and duties under these terms to another organisation that agrees to take on all our obligations to you, including a buyer of SPM Booster or of the business that runs it, and Paradigm Pro Sdn Bhd once it is incorporated. We will tell you by e-mail or on the site before the transfer takes effect. Your rights under these terms will not be reduced. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else.

• These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.
• If you have a complaint, please contact us first (section 18); we aim to resolve it within 14 days. If you are a consumer, you may also bring a claim to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia. Nothing in these terms stops you doing so.
• These terms are in English. A Bahasa Malaysia version is being prepared.

• If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• If we do not enforce a term, we may still enforce it later.
• These terms, together with the package description you saw when you bought, are the whole agreement between you and us about SPM Booster.
